Jaxville was established in 2004 as an actual bullion exchange open to the public. The shop was opened with the goal of placing as much specie ( gold and silver bars and coins ) as possible into the stronger hands of the community . This is being accomplished by being a local market maker for gold maple leaf coins specifically and a wide range of other gold and silver bullion products pending availability. Jaxville also recycles scrap gold, usually in the form of jewellery, through in house refining and processing. Jewellery items that are in better condition are offered for resale for spot gold value plus GST . This presents an excellent value for astute buyers and allows us to pay 75% of actual gold value on jewellery items. Recycled gold is offered to local goldsmiths and fabricators at spot prices.
